Users
Your marketplace has its own user base, separate from the admin panel. Users register directly on your storefront and can create listings, message other users, and manage their own posts.
Viewing users
- Go to Sites in the admin panel
- Click on your site to open its Home page
- In the sidebar, under Manage, click Users
This shows a paginated list of all users registered on your marketplace.
What you'll see
For each user, you can see:
- Name and avatar — The user's display name
- Email — The email address they registered with
- Status — Verified, Unverified, or Banned
- Actions menu — Per-user moderation controls
Member limits
Your plan determines how many members you can have across all your sites. The Starter plan allows 1,000 members, Growth allows 5,000, and Scale allows 25,000. When the limit is reached, new registrations will be blocked. See Billing & plans for details.
Moderating users
Each user has an actions menu (the ⋯ button) with the following options.
Ban
Banning a user:
- Blocks them from logging in to your marketplace
- Deletes their listings and associated photos
- Hides their messages from other users — banned users disappear from inbox counts and conversation lists
The account itself is retained so you have a record of who was banned. A banned user is marked with a Banned badge and their row is dimmed.
Unban
Unbanning restores login access. Previously deleted listings are not restored.
Delete
Deleting a user permanently removes their account and all associated data — listings, listing photos, and profile photo — in one action. This is what you'd use to honor a data-erasure request.
Deletion is permanent
Deleting a user can't be undone. All their data is removed immediately.

How user accounts work
Separate from admin accounts
Marketplace users are completely separate from admin panel users. A user who registers on your storefront does not have access to the admin panel, and admin panel users do not automatically have accounts on your storefronts.
Per-site isolation
Each marketplace site has its own user database. A user who registers on one of your sites does not automatically have an account on your other sites. This means:
- Users must register separately on each marketplace
- User data is isolated between sites
- A user's listings, messages, and activity exist only within that site
Registration
Users register on your storefront by providing:
- Name — Their display name
- Email — Used for login and verification
- Password — Their account password
After registering, users receive an email verification link. They can start creating listings immediately, but email verification is encouraged for account security.
Password reset
Users who forget their password can use the "Forgot password" link on the login page to receive a password reset email.
What users can do
Once registered and logged in, users can:
- Create listings — Post items for sale with photos, prices, descriptions, and categories
- Edit listings — Update or delete their own listings at any time
- View their listings — See all their active and expired listings on the "My Listings" page
- Send messages — Contact other users about their listings
- Receive messages — Get notified when someone messages them about a listing
